TL;DR

Professional Development Manager (Training, Learning & Development): Conducting, scheduling, creating, coordinating training and coaching activities for members' practices with an accent on Patients for Life® programs and professional development plans. Focus on delivering virtual/live training sessions, coaching for exceptional customer service and sales processes, and driving business growth through program implementation.

Hybrid position requiring regular in-office work. Candidates must reside in the greater Vancouver-Portland metropolitan area (WA/OR). Travel up to 25% for member events and trainings.

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 dependent on experience, plus performance incentives and allowances.

What you will do

  • Drive Patients for Life® process in members' practices to foster business growth and improve patient care journeys.
  • Secure buy-in from members and staff through coaching on program value and remarkable first-call patient experiences.
  • Conduct regular virtual coaching sessions, call reviews, and side-by-side evaluations of communication effectiveness.
  • Guide hearing care providers in structured consultations to build patient connections and ethical sales processes.
  • Deliver training across five pathways: e-learning, webinars, live events, office development, and one-on-one coaching.
  • Monitor training effectiveness, build professional development plans, and collaborate with stakeholders for business results.

Requirements

  • Reside in greater Vancouver-Portland metro area; work in office required with occasional hybrid flexibility.
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication and public speaking skills (virtual/in-person).
  • Experienced trainer/facilitator with knowledge of best practices in training and adult learning.
  • 3+ years in training, organizational development, coaching, or content development in customer-focused settings.
  • Strong team orientation, planning/organizing skills, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred).
