Salary: $243,100 - $314,600 per year

What you will do

• Lead engineers to deliver foundational technologies enabling innovative tools and workflows
• Collaborate with VP, directors, team leads, and production partners to develop vision and strategy
• Interface with industry partners on USD, Hydra, OpenExec, and OpenSubdiv for open-source impact
• Plan and deliver production roadmaps balancing stakeholder priorities sustainably
• Align goals across Studio Tools, Systems, RenderMan, and Production, managing dependencies
• Implement engineering practices for high-quality, sustainable software development
• Manage team leads, providing technical oversight, recruiting, and career development

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 10+ years industry experience as engineer or lead
• 5+ years managing or leading development teams
• Strong knowledge of modern software methodologies, design patterns, and leading major projects
• Demonstrated success building world-class software
• Expertise in C++ and Python
• Practical knowledge of commercial production/development software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
