Sr. Business Development Manager (Chinese Speaking - Gaming AI): Spearhead Layer's adoption in China market by prospecting opportunities, closing deals with gaming executives, and building a pipeline of customers with an accent on updating game art pipelines to AI-powered ones. Focus on developing tailored pitches, nurturing relationships, representing at events, and feeding market insights back to product teams.

Remote (China, Singapore, London, England, GB). Strictly for games industry professionals.

What you will do

  • Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities in Chinese market and share learnings with leadership.
  • Develop tailored pitch decks and outreach strategies for high-potential leads.
  • Own and manage full BD pipeline from contact to closing, onboarding, and support.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product to refine value propositions.
  • Build long-term relationships with stakeholders and represent at industry events as public speaker.
  • Track metrics like conversion rates and pipeline velocity, create case studies and co-marketing.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years in business development, partnerships, or sales in gaming or gaming SaaS; director level also welcome.
  • Interest or experience in game art as artist/hobbyist or managing creative content for games.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and persuasion skills.
  • Experience with creative software (Adobe Suite, Blender, Maya).
  • Public speaking at business conferences.
  • Proven track record meeting sales quotas with numbers and references.
  • Experience negotiating complex enterprise/mid-market deals.
