What you will do

• Review and validate import/export documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Assign and maintain HS codes, tariff classifications, duty valuations, and country of origin declarations.
• Monitor customs law changes across North America and update internal processes.
• Act as primary contact for customs authorities, brokers, and third-party providers; respond to notices and audits.
• Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Logistics for smooth cross-border goods movement.
• Implement and improve customs compliance systems, tools, and automation.

Requirements

• 3+ years proven experience in global customs/international trade compliance, preferably retail
• Strong knowledge of HS classification, product valuation, preferential trade agreements, duty calculations
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication skills; detail-oriented
• Degree/qualification/certification in Customs Compliance or International Trade
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
