What you will do

• Manage all aspects of purchasing, scheduling, and delivery for new equipment installations to ensure cost-efficiency and timeliness.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive job files and computer databases for traction elevator projects.
• Review job specifications, building drawings, and sales abstracts to ensure compliance and issue purchase orders.
• Coordinate with general contractors on job schedules, handle delays, and participate in on-site construction meetings.
• Obtain and prioritize all necessary city permits, plan checks, and DSA/OSHPD approvals.
• Act as the primary point of contact for National Coordination and internal branch personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the elevator or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of elevator equipment, modernization procedures, and installation processes.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Manhattan, NY.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
