Technical Sales Manager – Eastern Prairies (Agriculture)

What you will do

• Build and maintain strong relationships with independent and retail agronomists to ensure product recommendation and fair representation.
• Develop and execute technical support activities aligned with regional goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with Product Development to ensure testing programs are aligned with market trends.
• Manage technical expenses and product demo budgets consistent with key regional initiatives.
• Lead technical consulting and training for internal Account Managers and external customer groups, focusing on new product launches.
• Produce sales tools, including newsletters and recommendation sheets, to support field sales.

Requirements

• BS in Agricultural Science with 5-10 years of experience in technical support or selling chemical crop protection.
• Certified Crop Advisor (CCA/PAG) certification required or willingness to obtain within 12 months of employment.
• Ability to cover the Eastern Prairies territory (Regina, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg).
• Proven ability to effectively transfer complex technical information to audiences with limited technical expertise.
• Experience designing research protocols and projects that demonstrate the benefits of agronomy inputs.
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.
