TL;DR

Regional Planning Leader (Water Resources): Leading the pursuit and execution of stormwater planning and design projects with an accent on integrated watershed management and regulatory compliance. Focus on driving business growth in Northern California, managing complex flood mitigation improvements, and mentoring engineering professionals.

Location: Hybrid (Must be based in the US). Primary focus is Northern California (San Francisco, Livermore, Walnut Creek, or San Jose).

Salary: $177,853 - $266,825

What you will do

  • Lead the pursuit and execution of water resources projects, including stormwater improvements, sewer systems, and detention facilities.
  • Plan and design green infrastructure, sustainable watershed measures, and flood mitigation improvements like dams and levees.
  • Manage regulatory compliance and permitting efforts for USACE, FEMA, and other environmental agencies.
  • Drive business development by identifying growth opportunities and building client relationships in target geographies.
  • Act as Project Manager for the execution of water resource services.
  • Recruit, supervise, and provide technical mentorship to early-career professionals.

Requirements

  • 11+ years of experience in water resources planning, stormwater permitting, and design.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
  • Experience driving client-facing business development and responding to RFP/Qs.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification (California preferred).
  • Visa sponsorship is not available.
