What you will do
- Own architecture and technical direction for cloud-native services, including hands-on design, implementation, reviews, and quality validation.
- Ideate and solve complex customer problems in data migration and management, contributing to intellectual property.
- Coach and mentor engineers through design guidance, code reviews, and pairing to elevate engineering excellence.
- Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to meet overall objectives and deliver customer success.
Requirements
- 12+ years in software development; 5+ years in data management/migration systems and storage platforms.
- 3+ years hands-on in fault-tolerant, scalable cloud architectures (SOA, FAAS/PAAS, cloud storage) with at least one hyperscaler (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Proficiency in filesystems/cloud storage protocols (NFS/SMB/iSCSI); programming in C, C++, Golang, Node.js, Python.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Proactive with strong technical judgment, communication, and ability to provide architectural guidance.
- Bachelor's in engineering (Master's preferred).
