Software Engineer II, Core Platform (Fintech)

TL;DR

Location: Remote (U.S.). Hybrid roles available in New York, San Francisco, and Salt Lake City (2-3 days on-site per week). Relocation assistance may be available for candidates outside these areas.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain core services including Identity, Auth, Payment, Financial, and Risk.
• Scale the core platform to support business growth while maintaining high performance and reliability.
• Continuously improve daily operations through automation, tooling, design evolution, and observability.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency with Java and Python.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Experience in the payments domain and familiarity with the payment industry.
• Experience designing and developing fault-tolerant, scalable distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK).
