About the Role

You will design, construct, and maintain backend APIs, services, and systems. You will develop new large-scale features, refine internal tooling and processes, and contribute to product and technical roadmaps. You will build highly available APIs and data pipelines, write user-facing technical documentation, collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, and uphold high engineering standards across the organization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of proven experience as a Software Engineer specializing in web backend development
• Proficiency in Golang is a significant advantage
• Additional experience in data engineering is highly desirable
• A track record of successfully delivering high-quality production services and systems
• Customer-centric approach with a strong emphasis on empathy towards users
• Relevant industry experience, particularly in banking or fintech, and domain knowledge in fraud prevention or compliance
• Proficient in English

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain robust backend services
• Build and operate highly available APIs and data pipelines
• Collaborate with stakeholders to architect and implement new services
• Develop new features and capabilities
• Coordinate with engineering and product teams to align delivery
• Write and maintain user-facing technical documentation
• Promote and uphold high engineering standards
