What you will do
- Define the target operating model and governance goals for VMS regarding cost, compliance, and talent.
- Lead the selection, implementation, and configuration of VMS software and its integration with ERP (Oracle HCM) and identity management systems.
- Optimize the supplier network including MSPs and staffing agencies, standardize rate cards, and lead MSA negotiations.
- Enforce worker classification standards (1099 vs. W-2 vs. SOW) and tenure limits to mitigate co-employment risks.
- Oversee the complete non-FTE lifecycle from onboarding and provisioning to in-life management and offboarding.
- Audit supplier margins and enforce volume discounts to manage contractors as a major spend category.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience specifically within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in executing global category strategies and establishing VMS/MSP programs.
- Deep understanding of B2B legal frameworks and co-employment risk mitigation.
- Legal authorization to work in the designated locations is required.

- Master's degree or professional certifications such as CPSM or CIPS.
