What you will do

• Manage purchasing and advanced material planning for critical items across existing and new product lines.
• Act as the primary liaison between manufacturing, engineering, and external suppliers.
• Develop alternate supply sources and handle the solicitation of bids and quotations.
• Optimize the supply chain regarding price, inventory, and supply continuity in adherence to internal standards.
• Support New Product Introductions (NPI) by procuring materials for pilot builds.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Planning, and Quality teams to resolve MRB issues and manage material returns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with vendor management processes and contract manufacturers.
• Experience working within an ISO production environment.
• Ability to read and understand BOMs, MRP, safety stock, and sales order shortage reports.
• Must hold a valid Driver’s license and be able to travel locally.

Nice to have

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• APICS supply chain certification or equivalent professional training.
