Lead Web Programmer (React)

Location: Hybrid in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, United Kingdom

What you will do

• Lead and support a team of web programmers developing the game's web portal.
• Shape the portal's technical direction and collaborate with Leads and Directors to establish development standards.
• Define the technical roadmap with Producers, Designers, Artists, and Programmers.
• Prepare technical plans and manage delivery on time and within budget.
• Maintain high standards for user experience, quality, performance, and technical delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar technical leadership or Lead Web Programmer role.
• Deep technical expertise in React and strong coding standards and methodologies.
• Experience working with Agile development practices.
• Proficiency managing AWS infrastructure and core AWS services.
• Experience leading a small or mid-sized technical team and providing constructive feedback.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, proactive problem-solving, and a strong focus on quality.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Dependency Injection tools such as Inversify.
• Experience with Sanity CMS, BugSnag, and Datadog.
