What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of web programmers on the web portal for a best-in-class game.
• Collaborate with Leads, Directors, Producers, Designers, and Artists to set technical standards.
• Shape the technical roadmap, solve complex challenges, and deliver high-performance web experiences.
• Manage AWS infrastructure using Pulumi or SST, integrating services like DynamoDB, Elasticache, and OAuth.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget with strong coding standards and Agile practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Lead Web Programmer or similar, managing small/mid-sized teams.
• Deep expertise in React and Astro (SSR), with strong coding standards and Agile.
• Proficiency in AWS (Elasticache, DynamoDB, OAuth), Pulumi/SST, Dependency Injection (Inversify), Sanity CMS, BugSnag, Datadog.
• Excellent communication, proactive leadership, and passion for technical excellence and team development.
• Must be located in or able to work hybrid from Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
