TL;DR

Designer III (Telecom - Healthcare): Supporting modeling strategy, strengthening discipline execution, and owning coordination and documentation quality in Telecom/ICT, Audiovisual, Security projects with an accent on BIM standards, Revit modeling, and cross-discipline coordination. Focus on leading production quality, performing clash detection and resolution, and providing early engineering support including calculations and specifications.

Location: Remote - United States. Must be eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship. Occasional travel to client sites (approx. 25% of work).

What you will do

• Lead modeling, drawing development, coordination, and documentation using Revit and hirify.global BIM standards across projects.
• Perform clash detection in Navisworks, resolve coordination issues, and maintain model health independently.
• Support engineering with calculations, research, device layouts, specifications, and early design development.
• Estimate effort, sequence tasks, manage multiple workstreams, and contribute to project management judgment.
• Guide junior designers, share lessons learned, and refine workflows, templates, and standards via GitHub Pull Requests.
• Participate in meetings, site visits, and cross-discipline reviews to ensure delivery clarity and alignment.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in AEC industry with strong Revit proficiency, coordinated modeling, and construction documentation.
• Experience in technology systems (Telecom/ICT, AV, Security, Acoustics, Network, Wi-Fi) and BIM coordination including clash detection.
• Advanced skills in model management, warnings resolution, view templates, and cross-discipline accuracy.
• Strong organizational, communication, and technical judgment for managing workloads across projects.
• Proficiency in Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, Asana, GitHub.

Nice to have

• Industry certifications: EIT, CDT, CTS (AV), RCDD (Telecom), PSP/CPP (Security), PE.
• Experience with site visits, field activities, and product research.
