Sr Systems Administrator (Intelligence)

TL;DR

Sr Systems Administrator (Virtualization/Infrastructure): Designing and implementing infrastructure changes and system upgrades for mission-critical intelligence systems with an accent on VMware environments and Windows/Linux administration. Focus on automating common tasks via scripting, ensuring STIG compliance, and providing expert-level troubleshooting for Active Directory and network services.

What you will do

• Plan, design, and implement infrastructure changes and system upgrades.
• Manage and troubleshoot multiple VMware and Nutanix enterprise-level virtual infrastructures.
• Provide Windows Server and Linux administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Create STIG compliant images for Windows and Linux and deploy software via SCCM or PDQ.
• Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controllers.
• Utilize PowerShell and Bash scripting to automate common tasks and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
• Current active CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent IAT Level II.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience in systems administration.
• Proficiency in managing enterprise Virtual Infrastructures (VMware, Nutanix).
• Expert knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Object (GPO) management.
• Ability to write scripts using PowerShell and/or Bash.

Nice to have

• Linux OS (CentOS, RHEL) and Satellite server administration.
• Experience writing Ansible playbooks.
• Experience implementing STIGs.
• Background in supporting software configuration management and development environments.
