TL;DR

User Experience Researcher (Fintech): Conducting end-to-end mixed-method research to optimize an investing platform with an accent on user behavior and actionable product insights. Location: Hybrid (3 days in-office in London / 2 days from home)

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end mixed-method research projects, including interviews, surveys, and usability studies.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Marketing to define research questions and align with business goals.
  • Synthesize behavioral insights into actionable recommendations to influence product direction.
  • Support the research team on large-scale projects and survey analysis.
  • Promote a customer-centric culture throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Communicate complex insights to stakeholders to facilitate fast decision-making.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in user research, ideally within consumer-facing digital or financial products.
  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative methods (interviews, usability testing, survey analysis).
  • Proven ability to convert research findings into meaningful narratives for stakeholders.
  • Experience using AI tooling to enhance research efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills and a pragmatic, outcome-focused mindset.
  • Must be based in London to support the hybrid working model.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fast-paced, iterative environments.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Dovetail or UserTesting.com.
  • Knowledge of R Studio or Python.
