What you will do

• Plan and run research across investments and pensions using methods like depth interviews, usability testing, and exploratory work.
• Design research rigorously, test assumptions, analyze complex findings, and triangulate data into clear evidence.
• Collaborate with designers, product, and engineering to shape problems, agree questions, and maintain simple research plans.
• Apply insights to the customer lifecycle by mapping key moments and joining up journeys.
• Produce clear, usable outputs and share insights to drive prioritization and decisions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years qualitative research experience, including planning interviews and usability testing, choosing right methods.
• Rigour in research design and analysis to test assumptions and produce defensible insights.
• Confident synthesis and storytelling to shape priorities and decisions.
• Strong collaboration with designers, product, and engineering.
• Ability to apply insights across customer lifecycle for end-to-end experience.
• Good research governance, handling participant data responsibly in regulated environment.

Nice to have

• Service design experience, creating journey maps or service blueprints.
• Exploratory methods like contextual enquiry, diary studies, or co-creation.
• Familiarity with unmoderated tools like Maze or Qualtrics.
• Knowledge of investments, pensions, or regulated financial products.
