What you will do
- Manage and develop the design team through structured 1:1s, goal setting, and career support.
- Drive the practical adoption of AI tools to increase the speed, quality, and scalability of design work.
- Own design delivery and SLAs, defining intake processes and tracking on-time delivery.
- Run usability tests and user research to ground design decisions in data and evidence.
- Govern design quality and consistency across both product and brand outputs.
- Scale and drive the adoption of the design system across designers and engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product design.
- 3+ years of people management experience, including hiring and developing designers.
- Proven ability to embed AI tools or workflows to improve team efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills using usability testing, journey analytics, and CX metrics.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Experience in fintech or other regulated environments.
Nice to have
- Experience managing both product and marketing design within the same team.
- Experience scaling design systems and driving engineering adoption.
- Experience setting up UX dashboards or integrating design metrics into product analytics.
- Knowledge of structured goal-setting and performance management frameworks.
