What you will do

• Support the design and development of MSD instrumentation within cross-functional teams.
• Experimentally and analytically characterize system and subsystem performance and capabilities.
• Develop and optimize software sequences to automate manual assay protocols.
• Participate in the development of failure modes, effects, and criticality analyses (FMECA).
• Create and execute system design verification, validation, and reliability test plans.
• Generate change orders to drive product design and process improvements.

Requirements

• Ability to work in R&D, light-manufacturing, and engineering office environments.
• Experience or knowledge in system integration and testing of electromechanical and fluidic systems.
• Ability to develop system design requirements and technical specifications.
• Must be located in or able to work onsite in Gaithersburg, MD.
