What you will do

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 end-user technical support across organizational lines.
• Triage and resolve IT events and requests within end-user and lab environments.
• Perform asset management, inventory support, and hardware deployment for onboarding and offboarding.
• Configure and maintain lab instruments within prescribed frameworks.
• Collaborate with lab staff and IT teams in recurring sprint meetings to improve workflow efficiency and automation.
• Develop and maintain technical process documentation.

Requirements

• 4 years of IT experience, including 2 years in direct Tier 1/Tier 2 support roles.
• Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS, Entra, and Active Directory environments.
• Strong scripting knowledge and experience with ITSM ticketing services and change control.
• Solid understanding of basic network connectivity and protocols.
• Must be based in or able to work in Somerville and Andover, MA.
• Demonstrated comfort leveraging and supporting LLMs and agentic tools.

Nice to have

• Degree in technology or information security disciplines.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365, CompTIA A+/Security+, CCST, ACSP, or ITIL Foundation.
• Previous experience supporting lab or scientific research environments.
• Experience working in highly regulated technical environments.
