What you will do

• Verify software and firmware application packaging, validation procedures, and implement upgrades.
• Manage the new product transfer of compute systems and software, including change management.
• Create detailed technical documentation for OS build and deployment procedures for production test fixtures and sequencing systems.
• Execute program coding using Ansible, Bash, and PowerShell to automate deployments.
• Build and configure power, server, controls, and network hardware based on product specifications.
• Perform troubleshooting of OS, drivers, firmware, and hardware issues for in-house and shipment-ready servers.

Requirements

• BS in computer engineering, computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
• 1+ year of experience in IT system integration or relevant engineering fields.
• Proficiency in Linux, Unix, and Windows administration and server hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience with Server Booting processes, including POST, BIOS, PXE, Kickstart, GRUB/LILO, and RAID.
• Knowledge of Network Protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, L2/L3) and networking hardware (switches, routers, optical fiber).
• Ability to work onsite in Fremont, CA and lift/move equipment up to 45 lbs.

• C++ debugging experience.
