What you will do

• Lead designs for DDC and PLC based building automation and electrical power monitoring systems.
• Design controls network and system architecture, including IT/OT requirements.
• Create and review project books, sheet specifications, and sequence of operations.
• Coordinate with MEP/FP engineers, equipment vendors, and client IT departments to ensure system security and best practices.
• Manage design document deliverables across all phases (SD, DD, IFP, IFC) and lead Construction Administration (CA) activities.
• Mentor and train junior engineers while leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency and output quality.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a project lead for BAS/EPMS designs for a systems integrator or AE consultant.
• Proficiency in Revit and knowledge of IoT and smart building solutions.
• Experience with open-source protocols (BACnet, Modbus, SNMP) and DDC/PLC systems (Distech, Honeywell, Tridium Niagara, Schneider Electric, Allen Bradley).
• Valid REAL ID or passport required for travel (up to 20%).
