IT Trainer (Public Safety)

TL;DR

IT Trainer (Public Safety): Designing and delivering IT education and training services for Public Safety software products with an accent on training needs analysis and course material design. Focus on creating train-the-trainer packages, delivering multi-format training (webinars, classroom), and developing software training strategies for end users and admins.

Location: Must have a pre-existing right to work and travel within the EU; role requires travel 75% of the time.

What you will do

• Design and deliver IT training via classrooms, webinars, e-learning, or 1-on-1 sessions.
• Conduct training needs analysis and define training strategies for customers.
• Create course materials, manuals, exercises, and train-the-trainer packages.
• Manage the learning environment, IT equipment, and administrative records.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain hardware/software used for education.
• Collaborate with external providers, clients, and software companies.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Apps.
• Knowledge of training methodologies, Madcap Flare, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia.
• Experience developing software training packages and strategies.
• Ability to obtain NPPV security clearance.
• Pre-existing right to work and travel within the EU.

Nice to have

• Experience in public safety (police, healthcare) markets.
• Experience creating engaging e-learning content and media.
• LPI or other professional training certifications.
