What you will do

• Architect and maintain the Factory Operating System using React, TypeScript, ASP.NET, and PostgreSQL.
• Develop systems for part tracking, quality traceability, and real-time factory operations.
• Design performant GraphQL APIs and relational database schemas for manufacturing workflows.
• Implement observability, logging, metrics, and alerting for manufacturing systems.
• Write embedded software to integrate factory-floor equipment with the core operating system.
• Build internal tools and production scheduling optimization systems using OR-Tools.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack software engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency in a strongly typed backend language (C#, Java, Go, or Rust).
• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• U.S. Person status required for ITAR compliance.
• Ability to work across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and hardware-adjacent layers.
• Fluent use of AI coding tools in a professional development workflow.

Nice to have

• Experience with MES, ERP, or industrial automation.
• Familiarity with CQRS or Domain-Driven Design.
• Experience with time-series databases or production observability.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols, IoT, or embedded systems.
• Experience operating on-prem infrastructure.
