What you will do

• Analyze experience and develop actuarial assumptions for lapses, mortality, and premium persistency.
• Lead the annual annuity assumption unlocking process, including documentation and governance.
• Conduct quarterly annuity experience studies and validate actual-to-expected results.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations to senior leadership and governance committees.
• Implement updated assumptions in actuarial models using GGY AXIS and/or PolySystems.
• Support assumption reporting for statutory, GAAP financial reporting, and Principle-Based Reserving (PBR).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) with current CPD compliance.
• Minimum 5 years of actuarial experience in pricing, valuation, or experience studies.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical results to senior leaders.

Nice to have

• Specific experience with annuity products.
• Previous experience in assumption governance or experience studies functions.
• Experience supporting statutory and GAAP financial reporting, including PBR.
