Salary: $95,500 - $210,000 per year

What you will do
- Lead the development and launch of new employee benefits products, including design and pricing strategies.
- Build and maintain transparent actuarial pricing models and assumptions for market expansions.
- Collaborate with Underwriting, Legal, and Compliance to ensure products are competitive and compliant.
- Prepare actuarial materials for state insurance filings and regulatory submissions.
- Partner with Finance and Enterprise Risk Management to evaluate capital and risk impacts.
- Monitor post-launch performance and provide ongoing stewardship for launched products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- FSA (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries) or ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) with 5 years post-credential experience.
- Minimum 8 years of actuarial experience, specifically in product development and pricing.
- Deep expertise in group employee benefits (e.g., LTD, STD, Group Life, Dental, Vision).
- Strong ability to translate complex technical analysis for non-actuarial stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting multiple employee benefits product lines.
- Experience with early-stage product innovation and pilot programs.
- Familiarity with automation and group insurance technology platforms.
- Membership in the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
