What you will do

• Lead and mentor a global team of up to 8 backend engineers.
• Develop and maintain compliant, high-scale backend applications for customers, drivers, and fleets.
• Oversee high-throughput financial data processing with precision and compliance.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams on requirements, design, and development.
• Drive design, architecture activities, and Agile processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years as Team Leader managing global teams across multiple countries.
• Minimum 5 years in Backend development of complex systems.
• BSc in computer science/engineering.
• Experience with SaaS systems, microservices, and large-scale environments.
• Highly proficient in Golang, Ruby, Python, Java, or C#.
• Strong leadership to inspire, motivate, and manage teams in Agile.
• Extensive experience in design and architecture leadership.
• Hands-on capacity and excellent English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud providers.
• Experience with billing/payments domain.
