Software Engineer (DevOps)

Location: Must be based in Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines. No relocation available.

What you will do

• Assist internal customers with development tools used in both software and hardware engineering groups.
• Triage and troubleshoot IT incidents affecting engineering development infrastructure.
• Coordinate with core IT teams on infrastructure improvement projects.
• Perform benchmarking, monitor key systems, and automate metrics collection processes.
• Maintain comprehensive technical assistance documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in information technology.
• Strong experience with automation and orchestration tools, specifically Jenkins.
• Proficiency in Linux (RedHat) and Windows administration.
• Expertise in Python, Groovy, Perl, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Working knowledge of GitHub, Jira, and RDBMS such as PostgreSQL.
• Ability to work weekend rotations and flexible hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with CloudBees CD/RO.
• Proficiency in various SCM systems (Git, AccuRev, ClearCase, SVN).
• Expertise in Kubernetes and compute virtualization like VMWare.
• Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud computing.
• Knowledge of FlexLM License management and software build/release processes.
