Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS)

TL;DR

Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS): Designing, building, and supporting reliable, scalable, and secure platforms across cloud and hybrid environments with an accent on automation, infrastructure reliability, and cloud operations. Focus on managing EKS/AWS services, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and optimizing system performance through robust observability and CI/CD practices.

Location: Hybrid (Makati City, Philippines). Must be able to work onsite 4 times per month.

What you will do

• Design and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure across AWS and hybrid environments.
• Manage cloud platforms including EKS, EC2, RDS, and Lambda using Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure strong observability.
• Define and track service reliability metrics such as SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Lead incident analysis, root cause investigations, and disaster recovery planning.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with development teams to improve deployment reliability.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native infrastructure in production.
• Solid proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix systems administration.
• Experience with automation or scripting using Python or Java.
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) deployment and platform operations.
