TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS/Fintech): Leading the modernization of deployments from on-premise to AWS for a global financial technology organization with an accent on CI/CD pipeline optimization and container orchestration. Location: Hybrid in Manila; must be amenable to working US shift hours

What you will do

  • Lead the migration of on-premise applications and services to AWS.
  • Design and modernize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Artifactory.
  • Implement containerization and orchestration solutions via Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
  • Automate infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Collaborate with security and IAM teams to embed authentication and authorization controls.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS (networking, security groups, ECS/EKS).
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Artifactory) and Linux administration.
  • Scripting skills in Java, Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Must be based in Manila.
  • Amenable to working US shift hours.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to IAM tools (Okta, Ping Identity, Azure AD) and protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect).
  • Experience working in regulated environments such as PCI DSS, SOX, or ISO 27001.
  • Knowledge of observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.
