TL;DR

Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Fintech): Supporting the reliability, availability, and performance of a high-transaction fintech platform with an accent on infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and production stability. Focus on designing scalable systems, managing incident response, and optimizing observability in a distributed AWS environment.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Makati City, Philippines for hybrid work (4x per month)

What you will do

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD automation pipelines.
  • Perform production troubleshooting, performance tuning, and incident response.
  • Improve system monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure production stability.
  • Collaborate with security and development teams to reduce technical debt.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting and SQL workload analysis.
  • Experience with Kafka and observability tools like Datadog, ELK, or Splunk.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, networking, and security principles.
  • Must be available for hybrid work in Makati City and flexible shift schedules.

Nice to have

  • Experience in 24/7 or high-transaction production environments.
  • Relevant cloud or platform certifications.
  • Exposure to fintech or regulated industry systems.
