What you will do

• Champion platform reliability, observability, and DevOps culture across the engineering organization.
• Define and track SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs to monitor service health.
• Design and optimize Kubernetes workloads on Amazon EKS and manage containerized applications.
• Implement GitOps pipelines using ArgoCD and automate CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform for consistent AWS deployments.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and handle incident response.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Philippines
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps.
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes and containerized application deployments.
• Experience with observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python for automation.

Nice to have

• Expertise with Terraform and GitOps workflows.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (RDS, IAM, OpenSearch, Route 53).
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies such as Istio.
• Experience with security best practices and vulnerability scanning.
