TL;DR

Associate Account Manager: Managing a high-volume portfolio of Tier 4 client accounts focused on retention, responsiveness, and customer experience with an accent on relationship management, issue resolution, and growth opportunities. Focus on driving account retention, identifying upsell/cross-sell chances, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure high CSAT/NPS.

Location: Open to external candidates in Florida, North Carolina, or Texas with remote work flexibility.

What you will do

  • Serve as primary point of contact for high-volume Tier 4 accounts, building relationships through empathy, communication, and follow-up.
  • Proactively engage clients to understand needs, address concerns, and maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Drive retention by resolving issues quickly, reducing churn, and improving account health using data insights.
  • Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities with negotiation and objection handling.
  • Handle inquiries, escalations, and challenging conversations to turn around at-risk accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (support, product, billing) and maintain CRM records with key metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 2–5+ years in customer success, account management, or retention roles.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk).
  • Analytical mindset for interpreting customer data and trends.
  • Ability to manage high-volume interactions and prioritize effectively.
