Employee Relations Manager: Lead the organization’s teammate relations function, serving as the expert on workplace investigations, ER risk management, and consistent policy application with an accent on end-to-end employee concerns resolution and legally compliant decision-making. Focus on designing formal investigation processes, conducting sensitive investigations, and equipping HR and leaders with tools, guidance, and training.

Location: Remote (US-based, up to 25% travel). US employment laws apply (e.g., ADA, FMLA).

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000

What you will do

  • Own and oversee employee relations approach, ensuring fair, consistent, and timely resolution of concerns.
  • Serve as escalation point for complex ER matters like harassment, discrimination, and policy violations.
  • Lead design, execution, and improvement of workplace investigation processes from intake to closure.
  • Conduct or oversee sensitive investigations, partnering with Legal on high-risk cases.
  • Formalize ER processes, tools, and forms; interpret policies and recommend updates.
  • Coach HRBPs and leaders; design and deliver ER training programs.
  • Track ER data, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Law, or related field
  • 7+ years progressive HR experience with deep expertise in employee relations and investigations
  • Demonstrated experience building or formalizing ER processes
  • Strong knowledge of US employment laws (harassment, discrimination, retaliation, ADA, FMLA, wage & hour)
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR)
  • Expert investigation skills, sound judgment, and Legal partnership experience
  • Excellent communication and process-oriented mindset
