TL;DR

IT Optimization Manager (MST): Lead and manage IT optimization supporting multiple radiology practices, driving system performance, scalability, automation, and operational efficiency with an accent on imaging IT systems including PACS, VNA, AI, NLP. Focus on overseeing performance monitoring, optimization projects, change management, and cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues and enhance workflows.

Location: Remote, supporting US time zones: Alaska (AKST/AKDT), Pacific (PST/PDT), Mountain (MST/MDT)

Salary: $90,000 - $105,000

What you will do

  • Lead IT optimization initiatives across 6+ practices for system performance, scalability, automation, and efficiency.
  • Oversee performance monitoring, ServiceNow problem management, downtime coordination, change management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Direct optimization projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, budgets, risks, and measurable improvements.
  • Provide technical oversight of imaging systems: PACS, worklists, VNA, VR, advanced visualization, AI, NLP, VPN, server integrations.
  • Serve as escalation point and liaison with teams, vendors, radiologists, clients to resolve issues and improve workflows.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years IT management experience in system performance, optimization, process improvement; healthcare/radiology strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s in Health Information Systems or related, or equivalent experience
  • Strong leadership, team development, mentoring to align with enterprise strategy
  • Advanced analytical/problem-solving for complex technical issues and scalable solutions
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, customer-first mindset, adaptability, integrity
