What you will do

• Manage a small product team of 3-5 backend and frontend engineers.
• Spend 30% of time on management and 70% on active product development.
• Lead hiring and onboarding processes for new engineers.
• Redesign engineering shipment processes using autonomous agents as the default execution layer.
• Operationalize end-to-end agentic workflows (spec → plan → execute → verify).
• Provide continuous feedback, coaching, and career development for direct reports.

Requirements

• Experience managing an engineering team of at least 2 people.
• Extensive backend experience with Elixir/Phoenix, Ruby, or functional programming.
• Proven track record of shipping secure, reliable, and scalable production systems.
• Practical experience designing agentic or automation workflows.
• Strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency.
