Director, Private Equity Channel

TL;DR

Director, Private Equity Channel: Lead development of the Private Equity channel for Fractional CIO & Advisory practice by identifying and nurturing relationships with PE firms and portfolio companies. Location: Remote (United States) with up to 25% travel within the U.S.

Salary: $165,000 to $175,000 base + bonus

What you will do

• Establish and grow relationships with PE firms, operating partners, and portfolio executives.
• Promote Fractional CIO & Advisory services including digital transformation, software selection, IT leadership, and process optimization.
• Act as trusted advisor to identify opportunities for risk reduction, value acceleration, and technology modernization.
• Collaborate with internal teams to match advisors to client needs.
• Represent the company at industry events, PE networking, and portfolio engagements.
• Contribute to go-to-market strategy and positioning for PE priorities.

Requirements

• 10+ years in business development, consulting, or advisory with strong Private Equity exposure or direct PE experience
• Prior success in mid-to-senior sales or BD roles serving Private Equity
• Proven track record selling/delivering high-value services like strategy, ERP, IT transformation
• Strong understanding of PE operations including deal cycles, value creation, and portfolio support
• Executive presence, communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills
• Deep knowledge of consulting, enterprise tech, and translating solutions to business outcomes
