Senior Network Engineer, Global

TL;DR

Senior Network Engineer (Global): Design, build, and support global networks for corporate, security, and building management systems with an accent on operational excellence, large-scale migrations, and process improvements. Focus on troubleshooting complex LAN/WAN issues, leading network projects, and ensuring high availability and security.

Location: Cyberjaya, Malaysia or Singapore, Singapore. Functions to be performed in a company-designated office or field location. Travel required 5-10%.

What you will do

• Provide BAU network support during APAC hours and lead large-scale network migrations in APAC.
• Design, build, and maintain global network infrastructure, including documentation, processes, and SLAs for uptime and performance.
• Handle specification, purchasing, asset-tracking, and inventory of network equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, escalate as needed, and collaborate with cybersecurity for hardening.
• Research new tools/technologies and lead projects using JIRA for stakeholder updates.
• Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with policies.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive network engineering experience with multi-site global networks for high-transactional data.
• CCNP/JNCIP/CCIE/JNCIE level or higher; data center experience required.
• Expert troubleshooting of LAN (layer 2: Spanning Tree, port channels), layer 3 routing, ISP issues (latency, packet loss).
• Strong experience with firewalls, policies, VPNs, advanced inspection/filtering.
• Proficiency in network design/architecture, migrations, project management, and deadlines.
• Participation in on-call rota required.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Fortinet.
• Microsoft Azure Network Engineering Associates or MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure.
