What you will do

• Develop new features and optimize VyOS code for efficiency and maintainability.
• Collaborate with developers on code reviews, feature testing, and bug feedback.
• Design, deploy, and configure VyOS-based network infrastructures and PoC scenarios.
• Troubleshoot performance, security, and connectivity issues with advanced tools.
• Conduct functional, performance, regression, and interoperability testing.
• Maintain knowledge base with technical articles and documentation.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, VPNs, firewalls).
• Hands-on experience with VyOS or similar open-source networking platforms.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation and testing.
• 5+ years in networking, system administration, or network security.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V) and cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent troubleshooting, packet analysis, and technical communication skills.
