TL;DR

Location: Rochester, NY, US (onsite manufacturing plant)

Compensation: $138,100–$160,000 depending on experience + annual bonus up to 10%.

What you will do

  • Provide leadership for daily manufacturing operations, meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
  • Coach and develop production supervisors through goal setting, performance reviews, and succession planning.
  • Manage staffing, labor utilization, and shift coverage to align with production demands.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs on productivity, yield, scrap, throughput, and on-time delivery.
  • Lead continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Planning on new products, process changes, and capacity planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field
  • Minimum 6+ years in manufacturing leadership, managing supervisors and large teams
  • Experience in regulated environments (medical device, pharmaceutical)
  • Knowledge of FDA, GMP, ISO 13485 requirements
  • Project management experience
  • Strong communication, coaching, and performance management skills
  • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing analytics
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills; meet physical requirements (standing, walking, sitting, bending)

Nice to have

  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification
  • Data analytics and visualization skills
  • Experience with FDA or notified body audits
