What you will do

• Conduct thorough investigations of bodily injury claims including medical records, police reports, and witness statements.
• Evaluate injuries, determine liability based on policy coverage, state regulations, and legal precedents.
• Communicate with claimants, attorneys, medical providers to gather information and documentation.
• Analyze medical reports and bills to assess injuries and appropriate compensation.
• Negotiate settlements in line with company policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, legal counsel, and management to resolve complex claims.
• Maintain detailed claim files and stay updated on laws and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or comparable insurance experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in bodily injury claims adjusting.
• Minimum 3 years handling attorney-represented bodily injury claims.
• Strong knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and injury assessment.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• CA and non-standard auto insurance experience.
