What you will do

• Determine coverage clearance and finalize liability decisions.
• Interact with injured parties, representatives, or attorneys.
• Request and review medical specials and reports to assess claim nature and severity.
• Evaluate settlement value and negotiate within parameters.
• Process time-limit demands timely and meet settlement conditions for BI/UMBI.
• Adjudicate claims per company standards, best practices, and regulations.
• Produce clear, grammatically correct correspondence and documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years in Property and Casualty insurance; minimum 3-5 years attorney-represented bodily injury experience
• Must pass background check and acquire/maintain Independent Adjuster License
• Clear understanding of insurance practices, standards, and terminology.
• Disciplined approach with strong organization, decision-making, analytical, interpersonal, customer service, and time management skills.
