What you will do

• Own the end-to-end financial picture, including P&L, cash flow, runway, and unit economics.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning to support fast, informed decision-making.
• Manage monthly close, financial reporting, and tax compliance across various entities and geographies.
• Handle investor updates, board materials, and support fundraising conversations.
• Define, track, and evolve core KPIs and performance dashboards.
• Establish operating rhythms and translate strategy into clear execution plans and resourcing decisions.

Requirements

• Experience in early-stage or scaling startups as a builder.
• Strong professional background spanning finance, operations, or general management.
• Deep expertise in financial fundamentals, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
• Proven experience working with investors, boards, and external partners.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and lead cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be located in or able to work from San Francisco, California.
