What you will do

• Design, analyze, and validate mechanical and thermal solutions for power electronics systems.
• Develop cost-efficient, high-performance thermal management solutions for reference designs.
• Provide technical support to customers for solving thermal and mechanical challenges.
• Conduct thermal and mechanical evaluations using CAD and simulation tools like SolidWorks and Ansys.
• Design and validate custom mechanical components and fixture assemblies for test setups.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation across all phases of the design and development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design with a strong focus on power electronics system development.
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and Ansys (Maxwell/IcePak).
• Proven expertise in design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive product design and liquid cooling solutions.
• Experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing).
• Experience in the design and fabrication of customized high-frequency transformers.
