Location: Hybrid in British Columbia, Canada (Vancouver or Victoria)
Salary: $141,400 - $204,400 CAD

What you will do
- Drive the operating rhythm for the ACE team area, including planning, sequencing, capacity, and risk identification.
- Collaborate within a leadership triad alongside the Director of Engine Development and Technical Director.
- Promote and implement Frostbite-wide operating processes and delivery rituals.
- Establish a sustainable delivery rhythm with realistic commitments and clean handoffs over multiple quarters.
- Report progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Coach and develop Development Director leaders within the three ACE sub-teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading delivery for technical teams in platform engineering, developer tools, or large-scale software environments.
- Expertise in driving operating cadences at portfolio scale, including prioritization and capacity management.
- Ability to lead through rapid change in technical domains such as AI/ML and agentic workflows.
- Strong ability to broker resources and prioritize across different domains without direct authority.
- Must be based in British Columbia, Canada (Hybrid)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI, agentic workflows, and developer productivity tooling.
- Experience in game development, game engines, or other large, long-lived codebases.
