Per Diem Educational Consultant (Professional Learning): Deliver high-quality professional development, coaching teachers and leaders on i-Ready programs with an accent on data-driven instruction, classroom equity, and product implementation. Focus on tailoring on-site support, analyzing student data for outcomes, and facilitating workshops during peak seasons August–October and January–March.

Location: Based in Wichita, Kansas; candidates must currently live there or be open to relocating to Wichita, Kansas. Considerable travel up to 80% required within assigned territory; valid driver's license and own transportation required.

Compensation: $30/hour–$65/hour depending on work type

What you will do

• Become expert on i-Ready diagnostic and instruction programs for grades K–8, including Common Core products.
• Deliver on-site product training, professional development workshops, and coaching to teachers, coaches, and administrators.
• Adjust workshops to participant needs, ensure classroom equity, and provide tailored support like lesson planning and data analysis.
• Track training notes, complete assignments timely, and maintain professional image with customers.
• Engage in internal professional development including observations, feedback, and coaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years teaching, coaching, or professional development experience; secondary (6–12) preferred
• Strong knowledge of Common Core State Standards (K–8) or comparable.
• Fluency with digital tools, online assessments, and data application.
• Understanding of adult learning principles for effective professional development.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Office programs; online meeting tools like Zoom a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; own transportation and valid driver’s license required.

• Bilingual skills.
• Secondary teaching experience (6–12).
