TL;DR

Leadership Development Specialist (Education): Designing and developing high-impact professional learning experiences for school and district leaders with an accent on asynchronous learning assets and coaching resources. Focus on translating instructional frameworks into practical tools and creating implementation-focused resources to improve educator practice.

Location: Remote (Must be a resident of one of the 50 US states or D.C.)

Salary: $30.00 per hour

What you will do

  • Design asynchronous learning experiences, including e-learning courses, toolkits, job aids, and leadership resources.
  • Translate leadership competencies and instructional frameworks into practical, actionable content for school and district leaders.
  • Create implementation-focused resources for instructional coaching, data-driven instruction, and school improvement planning.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and production teams to develop interactive multimedia learning modules and videos.
  • Review and enhance existing professional learning content to ensure coherence and impact across the portfolio.
  • Contribute to a centralized repository of leadership resources and learning pathways.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in talent development or educational training.
  • Direct experience at the school or district leadership level (e.g., principal, assistant principal, or instructional coach).
  • Expertise in instructional coaching, mentoring school leaders, and data-driven instruction.
  • Experience developing professional learning content or curriculum for adult learners.
  • Must be a resident of the United States (all 50 states and D.C.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and general web proficiency.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a similar field.
  • Professional Training or Instructional Design Certification.
  • Familiarity with leadership frameworks such as PSEL or similar models.
  • Experience with state accountability frameworks and school improvement planning.
