Location: Remote (in the U.S.), must reside full-time within the United States. Collaborative working hours: 10 AM - 3 PM PT.

Salary: $128,945 to $157,850 annually

What you will do

• Lead solutions development including technical advisement, proof-of-concepts, custom development, and training plans for government agencies.
• Build relationships with government partners, map technical requirements, and propose feasible solutions considering stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to bridge gaps between current systems and long-term product opportunities, developing sustainability plans.
• Evaluate technical landscapes, document challenges, advocate best practices, and identify repeatable architectural solutions.
• Provide technical expertise in delivery areas like social safety net, tax benefits, AI, criminal justice, and rapid response.

Requirements

• 7+ years as Software Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Architect leading projects and interacting with customers.
• Recent backend development, database, data-science, and/or DevOps experience.
• 4+ years coding backend systems and data infrastructure in Python, Java, C#, Ruby, etc.
• Recent experience integrating emerging technologies like generative AI.
• Client-facing experience documenting technical requirements and architectures.
• Strong communication, self-management, and adaptability skills; passion for government services mission.

Nice to have

• Experience working with or in government, justice system, or social safety net.
• Machine learning or NLP technologies.
• Salesforce or Robotic Process Automation.
• Government procurement processes.
• Open-source contributions.
