What you will do

• Lead the instructional design process for AP courses, guiding curriculum analysts and subject matter experts.
• Drive the development of prototypes for new courses, including project-based tasks and teacher resources.
• Manage the project lifecycle from inception to delivery, establishing product roadmaps and launch plans.
• Collaborate with Learning Engineering, Access, and Strategy departments to integrate instructional projects.
• Direct a high-performing team of designers and analysts, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Represent the AP Program at conferences and engage with external stakeholders and policymakers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in academic strategy, instructional design, or curriculum development.
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing cross-functional teams.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Ability to travel 15-20% for business purposes.
• Strong project management skills and a strategic mindset for large-scale education projects.
