Product Manager, IT (Edtech): Strategic and operational lead for products and integrations supporting the PowerSchool ecosystem with an accent on SIS workflows and user-centered educational solutions. Location: Remote (Must be based in the US)
Salary: $66,379.50 - $111,000.00

What you will do
- Drive product strategy, roadmap planning, and execution for PowerSchool-related products and operational workflows.
- Translate business requirements into clear user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Manage and prioritize product, release, and sprint backlogs based on business value and technical complexity.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for PowerSchool SIS workflows, data models, APIs, and integrations.
- Collaborate with engineering, UX, and school operations teams to enhance onboarding, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze customer feedback and usage metrics to drive continuous product improvements and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, business systems, or education technology.
- Proven experience working with Student Information Systems (SIS), preferably PowerSchool.
- Experience working within K-12 education systems or school operations environments.
- Strong understanding of managing integrations, APIs, and interoperability standards.
- Proficiency in Agile software development environments using tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Ability to pass a required background check.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with PowerSchool APIs, plugins, or custom platform integrations.
- Knowledge of Ed-Fi, OneRoster, Clever, or ClassLink standards.
- Prior leadership or people management experience.
