Salary: $66,379.50 - $111,000.00

What you will do

• Drive product strategy, roadmap planning, and execution for PowerSchool-related products and operational workflows.
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Manage and prioritize product, release, and sprint backlogs based on business value and technical complexity.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for PowerSchool SIS workflows, data models, APIs, and integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, and school operations teams to enhance onboarding, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze customer feedback and usage metrics to drive continuous product improvements and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, business systems, or education technology.
• Proven experience working with Student Information Systems (SIS), preferably PowerSchool.
• Experience working within K-12 education systems or school operations environments.
• Strong understanding of managing integrations, APIs, and interoperability standards.
• Proficiency in Agile software development environments using tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to pass a required background check.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with PowerSchool APIs, plugins, or custom platform integrations.
• Knowledge of Ed-Fi, OneRoster, Clever, or ClassLink standards.
• Prior leadership or people management experience.
